Terms and Conditions

Terms of Sale

Last updated: 04.02.26

These Terms of Sale apply to the purchase of an annual music licence from SIBEE (“we”, “us”, “our”) via sibee.co.uk. By purchasing a licence, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

SIBEE licences are available to businesses and organisations only.

By purchasing a licence, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over and authorised to make a purchase on behalf of the business. Each licence is a one-off purchase for a fixed 12-month period and does not create a long-term contract beyond the licence term.

2. The licence

The SIBEE annual music licence permits the licensee to play music from the SIBEE catalogue only, within the business premises or location specified at the time of purchase.

The licence:

  • Is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase

  • Is non-exclusive and non-transferable

  • Applies only to the business and address stated on the licence

  • Does not cover music outside the SIBEE catalogue

  • Does not replace licences required from PRS, PPL, or other collecting societies where applicable

Use of music outside the scope of this licence may require additional permissions.

3. Price

The price of the annual licence is the price displayed on the website at the time of purchase or renewal, unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change from time to time, including as part of promotional offers. The price charged will always be the price shown at checkout at the time of payment.

4. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase and on each renewal.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe using debit or credit cards. SIBEE does not store card details and is not responsible for payment processing issues caused by third-party providers.

5. Licence delivery

Your licence certificate will be issued electronically and sent by email.

The certificate will display the business name and address provided at checkout. You are responsible for ensuring these details are accurate.

6. Use, renewal and cancellation

There is no ongoing contract beyond each individual licence period.

Each licence is issued for a fixed 12-month period and will automatically renew for a further 12 months unless the customer contacts us to cancel before the renewal date.

You may stop using the licence at any time. If you do not wish to renew, you must notify us before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next licence period.

Once issued, licence fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

The SIBEE licence permits the use of music from the SIBEE catalogue only.

If a business uses music outside of the SIBEE catalogue, whether intentionally or unintentionally, this use is not covered by the SIBEE licence. SIBEE accepts no responsibility or liability for any penalties, claims, fees, or enforcement action arising from the use of music not included in the SIBEE catalogue, including claims from PRS, PPL, or other rights-holding organisations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • SIBEE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

  • Our total liability in connection with any licence shall not exceed the amount paid for that licence

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful under UK law.

8. Data protection

SIBEE processes personal data in accordance with UK data protection law.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details of how personal information is collected, used, and stored.

9. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
